Third Rear Center Three-point Seat Belt (Foldable Backrest), Assembly Overview

Removal
-

Remove rear seat

-

Remove bolt -7-.

-

Remove 2/3 rear backrest

-

Push cover at belt guide cover -6- to the side and using a screwdriver detach catch -11-.

-

Remove cover -6- in direction of arrow -A-.

-

Remove enough padding of 2/3 rear backrest until you can remove the cover together with padding

-

Remove bolt -1- (1x).

-

To disconnect harness connector -9-, open fuse using a screwdriver (USA).

-

Remove nut -2- (1x).

-

Rear third rear three-point seat belt -3-.

-

Installing
-

To install the cover for belt guide -6-, first attach catch -10- and insert, then turn catch -11- inward making sure metal piece -12- is inserted
into cutout -13- of the cover for belt guide -6- (arrow -B-) (magnified area).

Ensure that connector -9- (USA) engages properly.

-

Tap lightly on cover for belt guide -6- in direction of arrow -C-to engage.

For vehicles with belt tensioner, check belt stretching sensor

NOTE:  Check points after complete backrest installation:

-

The anti-twist stop -4- and belt webbing -5-must not touch or rub against any foam or cover components.

-

Anti-twist stop -4- must follow all movements of belt webbing.

-

Belt webbing -5- must move freely in all directions.

Tightening torque: 55 Nm
