Display Group 006

NOTE:  The VAG1552 mobile Scan Tool (ST) can be used instead of the VAG1551. However the VAG1552 scan tool does not have printing
capabilities.

Test conditions

-

Battery voltage at least 11 V

-

Ground (GND) connections on engine and transmission OK

-

Fuse OK

-

Unclip cover for Data Link Connector (DLC), located under driver's side knee bar, behind steering wheel (left-side).

-

Connect VAG1551 or VAG1552 Scan Tool (ST) with VAG1551/3 adapter cable to DLC.

1) Operating modes 1 and 2 are displayed alternately

NOTE:  If the display remains blank:

Switch ignition on.

-

Switch on printer by pressing PRINT button (indicator lamp in button lights up).

-

Press button -1- to select "Rapid data transfer" operating mode 1.
