For vehicles without head-level airbags, an adapter must be installed.

Open cover - 4 -.

-

Remove bolts - 5 - (2x).
Tightening torque: 4 Nm (35 in.lb)

Remove roof grab handle - 1 - together with pins - 3 - from mounts - 6 -.

Clothing hooks
Clothing hooks for rear roof grab handles
Clothing hooks face forward.

Using screwdriver, press tab in attachment hook - 2 - up.

-

Remove bolt - 5 -.
Tightening torque: 4 Nm (35 in.lb)

NOTE:  Remove attachment hook together with trim and molded headliner.

After lowering molded headliner onto seats, disengage trim - 4 - from rear.
