Completely cover splines on end of shaft (arrow) with insulating tape without creasing or overlapping the tape, to prevent damage to seal when
sliding on drive pinion.

Install drive pinion on center of output shaft. (Installed position
Note: If installing the intermediate flange on the output shaft carelessly, the sealing lips of the seal can be damaged.
