Vehicle Information

47 LDP vacuum line breaks at brake booster vacuum pipe

Condition

MIL on.

-

DTC P2404 (rationality check: reed sensor unable to open) stored in the ECM Data Memory.

This condition has no affect on brake system performance.

Technical Background

May be caused by a broken nipple on the brake booster vacuum line (Figure 1), which provides a vacuum supply for the leak detection pump.

Improved material of the affected part.
