Performing final control diagnosis

Connect scan tool and select function "engine electronics".

Press key.

Indicated on display (function selection):

Vehicle system - test HELP Select function XX

Press keys 0 and 3 for Final control diagnosis and confirm the entry with the Q key.

Press the key until the following text appears:

Indicated on display (function selection):

Final control diagnosis Actuation of vacuum pump for brake system 

-

Confirm entry with the Q key.

The electric vacuum pump should now run for approximately 10 sec.

Remove diagnosis lead from diagnostic connection.
