Secure tensioning element using drift T40098.

Remove ribbed belt.

Set camshaft gear to marking for TDC by turning crankshaft. The marking on the camshaft sprocket must align with the arrow on the toothed belt
cover.

Remove vibration damper/belt pulley.

Remove bolts from lower toothed belt cover - arrows -.
