Leak Detection Pump: Service and Repair

Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144, Removing And Installing

Removing

NOTE:  All cable ties which are opened or cut open when removing, must be replaced in the same position when installing.

-

Remove left rear wheel.

-

Remove left rear wheel housing liner.

-

Remove nuts - arrows - .

-

Detach leak detection pump with bracket.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 3 - with ignition switched off.

-

Disconnect hose coupling - 4 - by pressing release button.

-

Cut cable ties - 1 - and disconnect the hose - 2 - .

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.

-

During installation, the cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

-

Secure hose - 2 - to bracket of leak detection pump with cable tie - 1 - .

Torque specifications

Bracket for leak detection pump to wheel housing

4 Nm
