Front Roof Module Microphone Unit Overview

The microphone unit (in front roof module) (R164 ) in installed in the front interior light (W1 ). Depending on the equipment, there are up to three
microphones installed.

Microphone Unit in Front Roof Module through 10.31.2008

One microphone (telephone microphone (R38)) is connected directly with the telephone transceiver (R36). The other microphones are connected to
the digital sound system control module (J525) (from Standard MOST).

Microphone Unit (in front roof module) (R164 )

1. Microphone (blue) for the Telephone Transceiver (R36) (left-hand drive)/Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) (right-hand drive)

2. Radar Interior Monitoring Control Module 1 ( G303)

3. Microphone (black) for the Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) (left-hand drive)/Telephone Transceiver (R36)(right-hand drive)

4. Inside microphone (R74) (black) to the digital sound system control module (J525) (from the standard sound system)

5. Blue 6-pin connector (T6c)
