5. The USB stick will automatically initialize, and the driver software update will begin.

Note:

Do not remove the USB stick during the update, which lasts approximately 2 minutes.

6. The driver software update is completed when the message displayed in Figure 6 appears.

7. Remove the USB stick and the USB adapter cable.

8. Reinstall the iPod adapter cable and the iPod, if applicable. Verify proper operation.
