‹› In vehicles without "keyless entry", trim installed instead of the outer door handle touch sensor.
Removing
-
Remove the outside door handle. Refer to => [ Outer Door Handle ]. See: Service and Repair/Front Doors/Outer Door Handle

Pry the outer door handle trim - 2 - out using a small screwdriver - 1 - at the location shown in the illustration - arrow -.

Remove the outer door handle trim from the handle - 3 -.
Installation
To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

Slide the outer door handle trim in until it engages audibly.

Install the lock cylinder. Refer to => [ Lock Cylinder ]. See: Service and Repair/Front Doors/Lock Cylinder
