Coolant Line/Hose: Service and Repair
Front Coolant Pipe

Front Coolant Pipe

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose Clamps up to 25 mm Diameter (3094)

‹› Hose Clamp Pliers (V.A.G 1921)

Removing

‹› Lay a cloth below the coolant pipe to catch escaping coolant.

Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 - and move the front coolant pipe upward.

-

Disconnect and remove the coolant hoses - arrows - with Hose Clamps up to 25 mm Diameter (3094).

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Coolant Pipes and After-Run Coolant Pump Assembly Overview ] See: Coolant Pipes and After-Run

Coolant Pump Assembly Overview. 

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.
