Sunlight Photo Sensor
‹› There are different versions of the Sunlight Photo Sensor (G107), observe the correct allocation. If a Sunlight Photo Sensor (G107) is installed that
is not intended for that vehicle (there is a different signal than the one intended in that Climatronic Control Module ( J255) A/C control head, the
Climatronic Control Module (J255) A/C control head cannot evaluate the signal from the Sunlight Photo Sensor (G107) and the A/C system is not
regulated correctly.
‹› The following illustration shows the location of the components on an Audi A5 Coupe; on the Audi A4 or the Audi Q5, the location of the
components varies slightly. Removing and installing the components is the same as described for the Audi A5 Coupe.
Removing

Switch off ignition.

Using a small screwdriver, carefully pry off the Sunlight Photo Sensor (3241) (G107) - A - from the windshield defroster vent - B -.
‹› While doing this, be careful not to damage the surface of the Sunlight Photo Sensor (3241) (G107) cover - A - and the defroster vent - B -.

Disconnect the connector - C -.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following.

After installing the DTC memory of the A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) and erase any displayed malfunction if necessary.
