‹› Because the high-mount brake light separates into its individual pieces when removed, it must be prepared for installation.
Procedure

Insert all 5 spring tabs - 3 - in the lamp housing - 2 -.
‹› The shorter side of the spring tab - arrow A - faces toward the bottom side of the high-mount brake light.

Engage retaining rail - 1 - and slide it in as far as the stop in direction of - arrow B -.
