Horn: Service and Repair

Signal Horns

Observe notes on contact corrosion => [ Contact Corrosion ] See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Information Bus/Service
Precautions.

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove the appropriate front wheel housing liner.

-

Remove nut - 2 -.

-

Remove signal horn - 3 - from the bracket.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.

Installing

‹› Tightening specification => [ Signal Horns Assembly Overview ] See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Cluster /

Carrier/Service and Repair/Signal Horns Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Install front wheel housing liner.
