Tail Lamp: Service and Repair
Side Panel Bulb Socket

Tail Lamps

Observe notes on contact corrosion => [ Contact Corrosion ] See: Service Precautions.

Side Panel Bulb Socket

Removing

-

Remove outer tail lamp => [ Side Panel Tail Lamps ]. See: Side Panel Tail Lamps

-

Remove nuts - arrows -.

-

Remove bulb socket - 2 - from tail lamp -  1 -.

-

Remove bulbs from bulb socket.

‹› Remove turn signal bulb - 3 -.

‹› Remove tail lamp/brake light bulb - 4 - and back-up lamp bulb - 5 -.

Installing

‹› Tightening specification => [ Side Panel Tail Lamp Assembly Overview ] See: Side Panel Tail Lamp Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Insert new bulbs in the bulb socket. Do not touch the glass bulbs with bare hands.

Install outer tail lamp => [ Side Panel Tail Lamps ]. See: Side Panel Tail Lamps
