Procedure

Place Used Oil Collection and Extraction Device ( V.A.G 1782) under transmission.

Remove right flange shaft. Refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft ] See: Differential Assembly/Service and Repair/0B6A (6-Speed Automatic
Transmission)/Right Flange Shaft.

Remove right flange shaft seal.

Coat outer circumference of the new shaft seal with axle oil.
‹› Installation position: The open side of the shaft seal faces the transmission.

Drive in new shaft seal as far as stop. When doing this, do not bend the shaft seal or install it on an angle.
