Selector Mechanism Function Unit

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pry Lever - Rmv Outside Mirror (80 - 200)

‹› Counterhold tool (T10172) with ( T10172/5)

Removing

-

Remove the front muffler or front exhaust pipe.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - and driveshaft heat shield -  1 -.

-

Remove bolts connecting the driveshaft to the transmission by counterholding using the counterhold tool (T10172) with (T10172/5).

-

Press driveshaft together with rear final drive; the universal joint is able to slide axially.

-

Allow driveshaft to hang down.

Remove heat shield - 1 - by loosening fasteners -  arrows -.
