Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Adapter (VW 295 A)

‹› Pressure Plate (VW 402)

‹› Punch (VW 408 A)

‹› Support Channels (VW 457)

‹› - 3 - Separating Device 22 to 75 mm, e.g. (Kukko 17/1)

Press the Protective Ring - A - off the Flange/Propshaft. 

B Separating device 12 to 75 mm, e.g. (Kukko 17/1)

Installation location of the protective ring - A - on the flange/propshaft

‹› Insert the protective ring - A - with the ridge -  arrow 1 - in the groove - arrow 2 - on the flange -  B -. The smaller outer diameter - arrow 3 -

faces toward the flange.

Press the protective ring - A - onto the flange/propshaft.
