Loosen the drive pinion nut. The counterhold tool (3028) must be supported on the adapter ( T10235) - arrow -.
- A - 3 bolts M 8 x 25
- B - 32 mm socket
- C - toggle

Secure the puller (VW 391) using the 2 bolts M 8 x 25 - arrows -.

Remove the flange/driveshaft.

Remove shaft seal.

Clean the threads on the drive pinion.

Coat outer edge of the seal with axle oil.
