First tighten the bolt next to the colored marking - 1 - to 20 Nm.

‹› By doing this, the CV joint is pushed slightly to the opposite side and imbalance is avoided.

Then tighten the rest of the driveshaft bolts - 1 - on the rear final drive in stages to 20 Nm.

Tighten the 6 bolts to the tightening specification => [ (Item 5) Bolt ] See: Driveshaft Assembly Overview. 

‹› Use the Counterhold Tool ( T10172) with the Adapters (T10172/5) to do this.

Tighten the bolts on the front driveshaft. Tightening specification => [ (Item 5) Bolt ] See: Driveshaft Assembly Overview.

Remove Alignment Fixture (3139).

Tighten the driveshaft center bearing on the body without tension. Tightening specification => [ (Item 8) Bolt ] See: Driveshaft Assembly

Attach the heat shield - A - to the transmission -  arrows -, if applicable. Tightening specification
