Driver's information display in the instrument cluster (arrow) fades or goes completely blank.

Service

-

Check software version of cluster in vehicle using the VAS 5051 diagnostic tool (see Repair Manual, Electrical Equipment, Repair Group 01 On
Board Diagnostic (OBD)).

Replace instrument cluster with new cluster using software version D18 or higher (see Repair Manual, Electrical Equipment, Repair Group 90;
Instrument cluster).
