Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair
Sunroof Motor, Removing And Installing

Unclip sunroof cover trim panel in direction of arrow and remove.

Remove bolts (arrow) and detach cover.
-
When installing, tighten to 3.5 Nm (31 in.lb).

Remove left, right and central sun visors.
-
Remove left and right grab handles.
-
Remove B-pillar trim at left and right.
-
Pull down front section of molded headliner.
CAUTION: Do not remove and install sliding roof motor unless roof is closed, i.e. only when cable drive and sliding roof motor are in
zero position.

Disconnect electrical harness connectors.

Remove bolts (arrows) and detach cover.
-
When installing, tighten bolts to 3.5 Nm + 0.5 Nm (31 in.lb + 4 in.lb).
