Mechanical Throttle Control, Servicing

Vehicles with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, without electronic throttle control

NOTE:

-

The accelerator pedal cable bends easily. Handle it very carefully during installation.

A single slight kink can lead to later breakage while the vehicle is being driven. Never install a kinked cable, instead replace it and immediately
dispose of the kinked cable.

During installation, ensure that the accelerator pedal cable fits between its brackets and cable mounting points without stretch, bending, kinking or
stress.
