Ultrasonic Interior Monitor, Repairing

NOTE:
The Ultrasonic Interior Monitor detects unauthorized access to the interior at the windows and activates the alarm.

Doors are monitored via the contact switches, as before.

The control module does not have DTC memory. Self testing is performed and displayed by Blink Code via the rear tog light switch (LED).

Interior monitoring can be deactivated with a switch mounted in the "B" pillar. See Owner's Manual. Interior monitoring is automatically restored during
next lock activation.
