In display field -1- appears the display "input adaptation value": 0....XXXXX".

Display field -2- shows input keyboard.

Input via the keyboard in the display field the value for the desired maximum fresh air blower speed in function "Speech input-telephone" for
the new adaptation of the A/C control head -E87-.

Basic setting at manufacturer: 15% (current characteristic number "3840")

Adjustable maximum fresh air blower speed during telephone operation: 15% - 88% (current characteristic number "3840" - "22528")

NOTE:

-

At 88% adjustment the fresh air blower speed will not be lowered anymore. With this adjustment the speech recognition and the understandability
of the speech input of the phone at maximum fresh air blower speed and the air direction to the dash panel vents may have interferences.

If a characteristic number that corresponds to a maximum fresh air blower speed of smaller than 15% or greater than 88% has been entered via the
keyboard, the characteristic number will be displayed but it will not be implemented.

If the characteristic number greater than approx. "32600" has been entered with keyboard, the display jumps automatically back to 15%.

The fresh air blower-RPM decrease comes in affect when approximately 40% of air is directed to the instrument panel vents, the maximum
decrease occurs at 100% of air at the instrument panel vents.

The entered characteristic number is displayed in area -2-.

Press -Q-button to confirm input.

Indicated on display of VAS 5051:

-

In area -2- appears the newly adjusted value for the maximum fresh air blower speed during telephone operation.

The entered characteristic number appears in area -3- above the scroll bar.

Save input by touching button -5-.
