Remove bolts -arrows-.

Disengage evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve -N80- -1- on air duct.

Remove air duct -2-.

Detach cover for high beam from headlight housing.

Disengage headlight beam adjusting motor:
Turn counterclockwise -arrow-for right headlight; turn clockwise for left headlight.

Slide ball head of adjustment axle out of ball head mount toward bottom by bending.

Disconnect electrical harness connector.
Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
NOTE: If adjustment motors are removed and installed or replaced, a headlight adjustment must always be performed.
