Resetting Without Scan Tool

Resetting of Service Display After Service Without VAS 5051.

Note:  By resetting without the VAS 5051 the service is automatically set to a fixed interval (16,000 km).

Switch OFF ignition.

Press button -1- and switch ON ignition at the same time.

After releasing the button, the following appears in the display:

"SERVICE IN ???? KM" or "SERVICE!".

Keep button -2- pressed until the message is reset to:

"SERVICE IN ???? KM" or "SERVICE!".

Adaptation values: For checking or changing, a scan tool is required. Please refer to Adaptation Values: Checking or Changing  See: Resetting

Switch OFF ignition.
