Bleeding Sequence For Vehicles With Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP)

Bleeding sequence for vehicles with Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP) 

Note:

A pressure of at least 2 bar is required for bleeding the hydraulic unit. For this reason it is important to always check the pressure setting on the
bleeder unit.

Use the brake pedal depressor when installing brake system components, and bleed the system afterward. 

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required 

Brake filler and bleeder unit VAS 5234

Bleeding brake system using brake filler and bleeder unit VAS 5234 
Follow operating instructions.

Connect brake filler and bleeder unit VAS 5234.

Open bleeder screws in the specified order and bleed brake calipers (assist as required with pedal pressure).

Bleed sequence 
1. Left front brake caliper
2. Right front brake caliper
3. Left rear brake caliper
4. Right rear brake caliper
-

Keep bleeding calipers until clear, foam-free brake fluid emerges.

Close bleeder screw.
