Sealant application for connecting pieces

Remove sealant residue on cylinder block and connecting pieces.

Clean sealing surfaces, they must be free of oil and grease.

Cut sealant tube nozzle at front marking (nozzle dia. approximately 1 mm).

Apply sealant beads - arrows - on clean sealing surfaces of connecting piece as shown in illustration.

The grooves of sealing surface must be completely filled with sealant.

Sealant beads must stand 1.5 to 2.0 mm above sealing surface.
