Removing bonded rubber bushing
All bonded rubber bushings on subframe are removed using the same special tool.
Preparation for installing subframe bushing

Apply installation tool 3372 and insert 3372/2 split bushings.
Align bonded rubber bushings
The bonded rubber bushings must be aligned using a long square-section tube or a straightedge.
A = 90° ± 5°
Clamp subframe in vise only with protective pads!
Installing rear bonded rubber bushing
Use lubricating oil G 294 421 A1 when pressing in bonded rubber bushings.

Pull in bushing - A - until thrust piece -3372/1 - is flush with upper edge of removal tool - 3372 -.

Lift off removal tool - 3372 - and two shell sections -3372/2-.
