Coolant pump and coolant thermostat, servicing

1 - Bolt

-

 M8: 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.) 

-

M8: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) 

2 - Lower toothed belt cover

-

Removing and installing,  See: Engine/Timing Components/Timing Belt/Service and Repair

3 - Nut

-

10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.) 

4 - Coolant pump

-

Removing and installing,  See: Water Pump/Service and Repair/Coolant Pump, Removing and Installing

Check for ease of movement

5 - Gasket

-

Always replace

6 - O-ring

-

Always replace

7 - T-head bolt

-

Insert before installation

8 - Coolant thermostat

-

9 - Connector

10 - Drain plug

-

30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.) 

11 - O-ring

Always replace
