Transmission Range Switch: Service and Repair
MULTI-FUNCTION TRANSMISSION RANGE (TR) SWITCH, REPLACING
Removal
-
Remove left transmission support.
-
Remove Multi-Function TR Switch at transmission and pull off at selector shaft.
Installation
-
Install Multi-Function TR Switch onto selector shaft.

Flat on splines in switch -3- must be positioned on flat of selector shaft -1 -.
NOTE:
-
Center Multi-Function TR Switch on the selector shaft.

Do not twist and do not use any force to install the switch.

Damage to the contacts may result if the switch is mishandled.

Turn switch until installation hole -4- on switch housing can be inserted onto dowel pin -2- of transmission housing.
