Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Adjustments

"Zero" Position Of Sunroof Motor (Link Guide), Checking And Adjusting

Checking

The "Zero" position can be checked using a pocket mirror and a flashlight, with the sunroof panel installed.

Trims removed

-

Slide sunroof back and into closed position.

-

Push sliding headliner fully back.

Place flashlight on sunroof panel and visually check "zero" position from side.

"Zero" position is correctly set if square hole in tilt mechanism of guide plate -1- is aligned with recess (arrow) in guide rail -2-.

Adjusting

-

Sunroof panel removed 

-

Sunroof motor removed

-

Trims removed

-

Slide guide plates -1- on both sides from rear to front.

-

Align square hole in tilt mechanism of guide plate -1- with recess (arrow) in guide rail -2- for sliding headliner.
This is the "zero" position.

Install sunroof motor in "zero" position.
