Compressor Fitting HVAC: Locations

Climate Control Components, Engine Compartment, (1997 >)

NOTE:

-

Refrigerant system, servicing.

-

Sticker in engine compartment lists fluid capacities and refrigerant type.

-

Confirm proper coding of A/C control head -E87- (engine type dependant).

-

Check and erase DTC Memory and perform basic setting after performing repairs.

-

Discharging refrigerant system.

-

A/C system cooling performance test.

-

Refrigerant system pressure test.

-

All components marked with * are actuated during Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM).

-

Electrical testing is possible on all components marked with **.

Air extraction vent

Sealing lips of air extraction vent must operate freely and close by themselves, checking

NOTE:  For proper ventilation, air extraction vent openings in rear of luggage compartment (left and right) must not be blocked or altered.
