Remove compressor from mounting bracket to service A/C clutch (do not open refrigerant system).

Removing and installing drive belt

Clutch plate bolt

Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 ft lb)

For setting clutch plate and belt pulley gap.

Size of gap: 0.3 to 0.6 mm.

Checking size of gap See Fig. 8

Always replace.

Install with flat side facing compressor

Ensure correct location in groove
