Always replace.

Install with flat side facing compressor

Ensure correct location in groove

NOTE:

-

A thermo-fuse is incorporated into the clutch coil. Current to the clutch coil is interrupted in the event of compressor overheating.

-

Diode -J201- is incorporated into the clutch coil to reduce voltage spikes when shutting the compressor off.

Hold clutch plate using locally available A/C clutch wrench with fabric band -A-.

-

Remove bolt.

-

Install in reverse order of removal. 
Tightening torque: 15 Nm (11 ft lb)

Carefully pry off clutch plate using two large screwdrivers as shown.

NOTE:  If necessary, remove clutch plate using locally available two or three arm puller.
