Position pin -A- in notch -B-.

Using depth gauge -C-, measure gap between top of clutch plate and belt pulley at three equally spaced locations. Note this dimension.

Energize clutch coil by applying DC 12 V to single connector -A- (compressor -B- must be grounded).

With clutch energized, note second reference dimension between top of clutch plate and belt pulley.
Difference between the two gap dimensions must be: 0.4 to 0.6 mm (0.014 - 0.024 in.).

If necessary, adjust gap by removing clutch plate and adding or removing shims.
NOTE:

Gap must be within tolerance around entire circumference.

Gap can be checked with compressor installed.
