Regular maintenance includes adding engine oil and replacing oil filters.

Technical Background

The 1.8T engine (engine codes AEB, AMB, ATW, and AWM) requires use of specific oil and a specific oil filter.

Production Solution

Oil filter part number 068 115 561B installed in vehicles beginning with the following VINs:

Engine oil

When performing scheduled Audi Advantage Maintenance services or topping off engine oil between services, use only engine oil that conforms to Audi
Oil Quality Standard VW 502 00.

Tip: Refer to the list in TSB 2010043 17 Engine oils that meet Audi Oil Quality Standards 502 00, 505 01, and 504 00/507 00.

Engine oil filter and capacity

Always use engine oil filter part number 068 115 561B. Engine oil capacity with this filter is 4.1 liters (4.3 quarts).
