Headlamp Alignment Actuator: Service and Repair

Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor V48 / V49, Removing And Installing - Through 10.04

CAUTION:

-

HIGH VOLTAGE!

-

Always disconnect negative (-) battery terminal prior to working on parts of HID headlamp components marked with yellow "HIGH VOLTAGE"
warning symbols.

Removing

-

Remove headlamp.

-

Remove screws -1- and - 2 -.

-

Release retaining clip - 3- in direction of - arrow - and detach housing cover from headlamp housing.

-

Remove screw - 2 -.

-

Lift off cover cap -1- with adjuster wheel.
