Power steering gear, servicing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Hose clamp pliers V.A.G 1275

Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

^

Torque wrench V.A.G 1332

Note:  

^

Replace self-locking nuts and bolts.

^

Welding and straightening work on Steering components are not permitted.

^

Use only Steering gear grease, Part No. A0F 063 000 04 to grease Steering rack.

Check dust caps are seated correctly and not damaged
