Selector mechanism, disassembling and assembling, 01J, CVT A/T FWD

Disassembling

Note:

Securing spring for locking cable, removing and installing.

6 - Selector lever

Shift selector lever in position D.

-

Remove shift lock solenoid -7-.

-

Unclip selector lever guide -12-.

-

Release pivot pins -5- and -19- and pull them out from the side.

Unclip retaining brackets -2- and -16-

-

Pull off retaining clip -17-.

-

Swing locking lever -11- upward as far as it will go.

-

Pull selector lever -6- together with bushings -3- and -15- as well as Tiptronic locking levers -4- and -18- downward out of selector housing
