Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

Disconnect heated oxygen sensor harness connector Component locations, refer to "Component Overview - II" See: Fuel Delivery and Air
Induction/Locations ).

Open tie wrap.

-

Remove heated oxygen sensor.

When installing a heated oxygen sensor, note the following:

Install tie wraps in original locations, to prevent sensor wiring from contacting exhaust system.

Coat oxygen sensor threads with anti-seize compound but do not allow compound to enter sensor slots.
Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ft lb)
