Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

Stabilizer bar, removing and installing
Removing

-

Remove noise insulation panel.

-

Remove nuts -1-.

-

Remove connecting links from stabilizer bar.

-

Remove nuts -2-.

Installing 

-

Install bushings and stabilizer bar.
-

Do not apply grease

-

Arrows on connecting links point in direction of travel

-

If replacing stabilizer bar, check which suspension version vehicle is equipped with.
Tightening torques:
-

Connecting link to stabilizer bar: 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.) (always use new ribbed nuts)

-

Nuts -2-: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) (always replace)
