‹› Lubricate before installing the protective cap

8 - Protective seal

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ The surface of the piston and seal should be cleaned using only methylated spirits and then dried. ] See:

‹› Push outer sealing lip onto piston

9 - Protective cap

‹› Insert onto brake carrier and guide pin

10 - Brake carrier with guide pins and protective cap

‹› Replacement carriers are supplied assembled and with sufficient grease on the guide pins

‹› If protective caps or guide pins are damaged, replace them using the repair kit. Use grease packet supplied to lubricate the guide pins.
