Air Duct in Vehicle

‹› The ventilation of the passenger compartment occurs via two air extraction outlets (in luggage compartment right and left near the bumper). Refer

to => [ Vent Frame, Checking ] See: Description and Operation/A/C System Control and Regulation Components.

‹› The following figure shows an instrument panel as installed in a sedan or Avant up to VIN "399999" of model year 2005. The form of the

instrument panel in a Cabrio, sedan, or Avant starting with VIN "400000 " of model year 2005 (in the Sedan and Avant) and "012913" of model
year 2005 (Cabrio) deviates slightly from this figure.

‹› Removing and installing, Refer to => Interior Moulding / Trim See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim

‹› If the Intermediate piece between air conditioner and air duct in the instrument panel has been pinched during installation, the air guide to the

front windshield is uneven or insufficient.

‹› Different versions of the sunlight photo sensor ( G107) in vehicles up to VIN "399999" and starting with VIN "400000" of model year 2005

(in Sedan and Avant) and to " 012912" or starting with "012913" of model year 2005 (Cabrio).
