Fig. 10 Transmission Control Module (TCM) for multitronic -J217- - 01J, Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)

Component location: The Transmission Control Module (TCM) -J217- is mounted at the rear of the transmission, directly on the hydraulic unit.

The following components are integrated in the control module.

A - Sender for transmission output RPM -G195- and Sender 2 for transmission output RPM -G196-

B - Transmission fluid temperature sensor -G93-

C - Multi-function transmission range (TR) switch -F125-

D - Sensor for transmission RPM -G182-

E - Sender 1 for hydraulic pressure, automatic transmission -G193-

F - Sender 2 for hydraulic pressure, automatic transmission -G194-

CAUTION!  Always perform the Adaptation after installing a new Transmission Control Module (TCM) -J217-. See: Testing and
