Side Curtain Airbag

‹› Removal:

-

Disconnect the battery ground (GND) strap.

-

Remove sun visor. Refer to => [ Sun Visor ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Roof Trim, Sedan. 

-

Remove upper trim on A-pillar. Refer to => [ Upper A-Pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Trim.

-

Remove upper B-pillar trim. Refer to => [ Upper B-Pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Trim.

Remove roof end. Refer to => [ Roof Panel ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Trim.

Remove D-pillar trim. Refer to => [ D-Pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Trim.

Disconnect connectors. Refer to => [ Disconnect Side Curtain Airbag Connector ]. 

-

Loosen three bolts - 4 -.

-

Loosen six bolts - 5 -.

-

Remove screw - 7 -.

-

Remove three brackets - 2 - from roof frame.

-

Place front part of side curtain airbag module on seats.
