Side Curtain Airbag Connector

Side Curtain Airbag

‹› Removal:

-

Disconnect the battery ground (GND) strap.

-

Remove sun visor. Refer to => [ Sun Visor ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Roof Trim, Sedan. 

-

Remove upper trim on A-pillar. Refer to => [ Upper A-Pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Trim.

-

Remove D-pillar trim. Refer to => [ D-Pillar Trim, Removing and Installing ] . 

-

Remove trim above rear door. Refer to => [ Trim above Rear Door, Removing and Installing ] .

-

To disconnect harness connector - 1 -, open fuse using a screwdriver.

-

Remove screw - 6 -.

-

Loosen four bolts - 7 -.

-

Remove screw - 5 -.

-

Place front part of side curtain airbag module on seats.

-

Loosen three bolts - 3 -.

-

Remove four bolts - 4 - and remove brackets -  arrows - from roof frame.
