Remove rear bench seat, refer to through October 2004 => [ Bench Seat, through October 2004 ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seats; from November 2004 => [ Bench Seat, from November 2004 ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service
and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seats.

Remove bolts - 2 - (Qty. 2).

‹› Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

When installing fixed rear seat backrest, slide securing tabs behind the LATCH bracket - 1 -.

-

On some vehicles, when installing LATCH later, the securing tabs must be pressed flat in a vise to about 3 mm.

When installing, ensure there is enough clearance to lap belt with retractor, rotate lap belt with retractor if necessary.
